Policies and Procedures

We have various policies and Procedures which all parents/carers are welcome to look at, at any time. Please ask a member of staff who will be more than happy to arrange a copy for you to take away. Specific Policies and Procedures will be on display.

Child protection

Children are paramount and we have a duty to report any suspected cases of abuse to the Child Protection department of Social services.

The named Child Protection Officer at the Towers Tiny Tots is the Nursery Manager Jo Smith

SEN

The Nursery is committed to the code of practice for special needs. Children who have additional needs are welcome at our Nursery as we treat all children the same.
Our SEN Co-ordinator will work with parents/carers and outside agencies in consultation as to what facilities the child may need.

Complaints procedure

We hope you will always be happy with the care your child receives whilst in attendance at the Nursery.

We are always happy to receive comments and suggestions. If however you have any concerns about your child's care please speak to your child's key worker, or the Senior member of staff responsible in your child's room. If the problem is not resolved please come and speak to the Manager who will do her best to solve these problems. Any complaint put in writing will be dealt within 28 days.

The unwell child

Please refrain from bringing your child to Nursery if they are suffering from an infectious or contagious illness or disease. Any child suffering from sickness or diarrhoea should refrain from returning to Nursery until at least 24 hours has past and they are symptom free. Any child who becomes unwell during Nursery hours will be sent home immediately.

Please ring or let a member of staff know if your child will not be attending Nursery for any reason. We would appreciate being informed of any illnesses they have so we can keep other parents informed.
